Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals for team and floor competitions and bronze in the balance beam. In 2012 she was one of the few American athlete to earn the highest number of medals at the Olympics. Her gold medal during the Olympics in 2016 was the second gold in a row for the United States team. It made her along with fellow teammate Gabby - the first Americans - to achieve this accomplishment. Also, she received silvers for individual all-around and floor exercises. She took a break of three years between each Olympics from gymnastics competition. The gold medal she won for the American team also took home two World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began when she was two and her favorite event is floor exercise. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandma. Aly plans on pursuing the profession of a fashion designer. She hopes to pursue expanding her trademark line of leotards. She is writing a book titled Fierce that will be released later this year.
